In line with our strategic direction of improving the quality of teaching in Nigeria, the TY Danjuma Foundation is partnering Teacher Aid Initiative (TAI) on a project titled “STEM Teachers Fellowship in Ekiti”.
The project is aimed at enhancing the skills of teachers and educational managers by equipping them to excel in implementing Project-Based Learning activities and strategies in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education in schools and classrooms.
A Demonstration Session at the Training
150 teachers from 50 schools, encompassing both Basic and Senior Secondary levels, along with 20 education managers in the state, have commenced the 5-months long training on STEM and their significance, and identifying key challenges and opportunities in teaching STEM. The training also focuses on effective practical delivery of scientific concepts in classrooms.
