The TY Danjuma Foundation is set to unveil its grantees and projects that will be implemented across States in Nigeria in the 2019 grant cycle on February 6, 2019. On this day, the Foundation will also announce the total grants amount to fund Health and Education intervention while highlighting the focus areas of the interventions across Nigeria.
The Foundation started the 2019 grant cycle with a Call for Concept Notes in 2018. The Call was followed by a rigorous selection process which ended with a final approval by the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
For the 2019 grant cycle, 24 projects shall be funded. Of these projects, 12 will be in Health while 12 in Education. Adamawa, Akwa-Ibom, and Delta are 3 States that will benefit for the first time from the Foundation’s grants. This will bring the total number of States reached across Nigeria to 32 out of 36.
The announcement will officially flag off activities towards the implementation of the Foundation’s 2019 grants.
