In a bid to increase access to quality education for the Nigerian child, the TY Danjuma Foundation in 2019 provided grants to Fahimta Women and Youth development Initiative (FAWODYI) for the construction of a block of two classrooms in Takwatshinge Community, Dass Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
On September 30, 2019, the Foundation officially commissioned and handed over the primary school in Takwatshinge to the community. The primary school is the first in the community and caters to 150 pupils and office for teachers.
The Emir of Dass, Alhaji Usman Biliyaminu Othman promised on behalf of the emirate to construct a borehole in the school as a source of water.
In 2010, the TY Danjuma Foundation constructed schools in Fulataran and Kaisuwa villages of Darazo and Gamawa Local Government Areas in Bauchi state.
