In sync with the Foundation’s goal of achieving improved maternal and child healthcare in Nigeria, the postnatal and delivery room at the Okada Primary Healthcare Centre were renovated and equipped with bed frames, delivery couches, mackintosh sheets, beddings, a baby cot, a drugs shelf, and chairs for the antenatal and immunization sections. These provisions will ensure that mothers and children receive safe, hygienic, and comfortable health services. The Foundation hopes that this intervention will increase community confidence and lead to greater uptake of maternal and child healthcare services in a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment.
